I´m a strong advocate of manual labor to keep the mind occupied.

Gardening? Woodworks? Blacksmithing? All these have the bonus of being able to double as source of income when you are good at it.

i restores few electronic devices in the past, mostly old russian radios and shit but those things don't have much of an resell value so you end up stuck which a bunch of shit noone wants

Fixing shit like an autist is what I do. Most technical devices have some kind of problem or at least an approaching problem that a keen observer can spot and prevent from getting really bad.
