I really like a lot of edgy OVAs that came out of Japan from the 80's all the way to late 90's. Stuff like Angel Cop, Bubblegum Crisis, MD Geist, Vampire Hunter D, Violence Jack, some Devilman OVAs like Amon Apocalypse, Genocyber, and so on have a lot of cool stuff in them despite the fact some pretentious retards saying they should be snobby boring philosophical soap operas.
