Well, it's not completely horrible if that's what you're asking. The pacing was a little off and the whole movie is basically just backstory... but yeah, it's a good movie all in all.

Most people complain that it would have been better if they more closely matched the source material, but... yeah, I don't see how they could have done that... that... the scene where the two little girls are forced to run across a minefield or else get shot... yikes! I'm GLAD that part wasn't in it! If you go too uncanny valley you'll lose a significant portion of your audience, so I think they did a good job on it.

It's too bad we likely won't get a sequel.

I know I haven't written any more of the Third Testament in almost a week now... it's because of the lock... the meta-tech, the indeterminate origin lock.

I had to um... summon something, so to speak.

A conceptual life form, sentient duality to be precise.

It created a kind of puzzle to serve as its signature... like a puzzle trap.

I have to solve it to go any further.

The trap was built to directly exploit my procrastination and in turn my perception keeps looping around like I did to time... because when I became an artificial god they did it by sorta screen burning a fractional nanosecond of my being into the timestream itself... so... it loops...
