All of these are good points except the gymnastics one because gymnastics just keeps getting cooler and cooler. The reason optimization works better for it than for other sports is because it is judged by the full range of physical motion instead of "did ball go in basket?/did player make it to home base?"/etc. So the results of optimization in gymnastics are more interesting than "get ball in basket more often".
Of course if I were to choose between bitchin gymnastics moves and not being mentally drowned in a homogeneous gray world I'd take the latter.

we've been here many times before. we should listen to the experts when they tell us millions will die, that 3 masks will protect you, but only if you wear goggles and a face shield, that getting the jab will definitely stop the meme flu, except it's not that effective and you need to get a second jab, wait they mean a third jab because suddenly random variants are popping up everywhere, also the jab is totally safe and FDA approved and wont cause thousands to suffer blood clots and heart attacks.....

Inflation is alredy 3% a month in Soviet Canuckistan, whose economy is somewhat linked to the filthy yankees. it costs me 40$ for 3 days worth of food.
