People got sued for damages after they were convicted for defending themselves in DC.
There was a big case in DC where a woman was stabbed in the chest in her apt lobby. In her flailing she scratched the guy's face. The court wouldn't even put her docket on the schedule something that he was a mental patient or something and a ward of the state. She nearly gets killed, is crippled and the authorities who let this creep out skate. Not our prob, sister.
