Ben lost his edge once people started catching onto the fact he wasn’t a complete idiot.
College students came at him to own the religious right winger, so they were always thrown for a loop when he quoted actual evidence of fetal development.
Piers Morgan and a lot of other liberal MSM figures likewise expected some sort of Alex Jones or even just a Steven Crowder figure and were thrown for a loop when the Harvard Law grad turned out to be smart.

Shapiro is a never-Trumper just like many from the Bush era of incompetence and ruinous policies. That's his right, but he should be up front about it instead of pretending he's something he's not.
He’s been pretty consistent on saying what he does and doesn’t like about Trump from what I’ve seen and he continued taking jabs at Trump after the election.

Not really. Remember, it was Shapiro in cahoots with Michelle Fields who tried to derail the Trump campaign in 2016. He was always an ardent supporter of Jeb "Please clap" Bush.

Some of the neocons expressly campaign on platforms designed to hide their neocon bona fides or at least make their neocon sympathies seem minor. They pull the old bait 'n switch. OTOH, Ol' Purple Lips' first presidential campaign was one giant fraud that was exemplified by OBONGOCARE.
