In my experience, at a base line, it is p fun, insofar as it is human power projection outside of one's body. Just so, WHAT you are aiming at actually determines a lot of the emotional character of firing the shot itself.

Firing a shotgun was pretty cool. More kickback than you would think at first. You'll get a bruised shoulder if you do it wrong. I was a natural at hitting the clay pigeons.

Didn't mean anything to me, but then again I'm a boring person: tried bungie cause some dude said it was an awesome experience and he felt electrified two days after, yet I was dozing off 30min later. Fired a gun and the only thing I was left with was permanent tinnitus.
