My boot times fluctuate like crazy, and I'm hoping someone might have an answer.

When I run defrag, it speeds up and stabilizes for a bit, but I think my drives are just filled with too much shit, and I keep putting more in it?

Honestly, with the amount of shit you have on your HDDs, you are 100x better off getting a cheap 256GB SSD (you can get one for less than $50 easily) to use as your boot drive. You can still keep all of your stuff on your HDD and just keep Windows on the small SSD. Makes a significant difference and well worth the money.

Ya. Was fast before I switched from a 250g ssd to a bigger one. But, bout the same time, I put in another 4tera hdd. Checked for bugs and rootkits enough times. Could swap the 250 back in and see what happens, but I'm lazy.
