Super common. I worked in an office setting for like 6 months once, and all the most successful people had prescriptions for speed-- and many of those people also had the benzo script too. Doctors literally do it so when people can't relax at the end of the day, after shoving amphetamines down their throats for 12 to 14 hours, they can just artificially knock off. #TrustTheScienceBro

Back in the old days, ravers used to keep a few downers floating around at home for the post-party when they were tired of feeling everything. Maybe they still do, IDK, everyone is prescribed these drugs now, so one wonders how that has changed the culture.
