Good incense is pretty decent. Bad incense worst it's weird petrochemical paraben party coating every surface and smells like shit.

I also don't burn it because I I'm not a dirty hippy or need to hide if I smoke weed anymore

Go for cedar, or a blend with cedar. From what you are saying, it should be everywhere you want to be. P common incense aroma, so it should be around.

I used to volunteer for a local cat shelter.
The owner is this crazy cat lady--brutal to visitors, but very gentle with the cats.
Anytime there were signs of abuse on new cats or just general drama,
She would burn white sage incense to "clear out the scum"
And then individually groom each cat with a soft brush.

I hope she's doing well.

last year a came up with the genius plan to stick some leftover mary jane I had purchased into a big stick of incense and shit did it work.
the great thing about it is the smell of the incense is stronger than the weed so no one would suspect a thing
