Only open to actual edf members, by my invite
Only one channel

No other administrator or mods will be needed so it stops autistic janny fights


Worth it or the shoutbox is enough?

admittedly I've only ever used the ed discords but from what I saw, the app wasn't the problem it was more like the people who were drawn to it.

If it's EDF exclusive that'll fix all the problems EDD had.

it's a chatbox not gallery
for me you can remove media support completely and turn it into irc channel
some regulars don't have and don't want discord account
and having to personally suck your cock for the invite is also something i'll want to avoid

shove in a 'god old mibbit webwidget that's my solution - that has been my solution since

i would not switch to discord for media embed support, it works fine as it is if you're not an adhd zoomer who can't figure out how to upload elsewhere and copy link. Would make sense for voice chat and movies though, if that is what we want.
