i have a hywel dda healthboard diagnosis from years ago of uh "autistic spectrum disorder". i'm not sure if i took the assessment the appointment whatever however you describe it as an adult whether the diagnosis would be the same or whether any developmental disorder would be identified.

autism isn't a mental illness though if for no other reason than it can't be treated in the same way. maybe you'd describe it as a trait that affects people in a manner as detrimental as a mental illness, but it's a developmental disorder. some people will argue autism isn't a real developmental disorder and is merely a description of a number of desirable/undesirable normal/abnormal personality traits depending on who you ask and i guess whatever the fuck it's a developmental disorder to me. i'm also very stupid which is unrelated and is more a cause for concern than this is.

having autism has not affected my life whatsoever but being unintelligent has

There's a thing in your brain that can fuck up and it winds up amplifying sensory stimulus. Like if I touch anything really cold it feels like razor blades radiating through my fingers! D:

It's the "nails on a chalkboard" effect. But for some reason it fucks up and normal things trigger that particular... whatever it is... sensory overload?

That might be a way to treat it though. Like subject yourself to something WAY worse... like nails on a chalkboard. Try and see how long you can stand it, even if it's just a for few seconds. Then repeat the process daily and try and increase how long you can stand the most extreme sensory pain.

Try and think of it like a game or a challenge, like you're enduring the pain for an epic win. Imagine it making you STRONGER!

If it doesn't improve your problem in like... a few weeks... probably won't work.

it's fine, i don't see the problem within myself, instead I believe the world is too full of people and too noisy :)

You talk to yourself because you don't take the bother to find other people to talk to, because you masturbate too much and it fucked up your brain's metrics for "work vs reward". As a result you want friendships to be entirely one-sided, to be all about you and, when they're not, you spaz and then blame it on "autism" or "insert generic pop-psych malady of your choice".

You're just a selfish asshole. Try and think less about yourself and more about others. Your life probably isn't even remotely as bad as you think it is. You've just gotten into a bad habit of over expecting shit. Be less of a greedy guts. Try to think about others.

I'm going to take revenge on the wasps later! For my mom! Soon there will be a new trap and soon the entire wasp army shall be wiped out in totality!

Spend time thinking about how you can do shit for other people instead of just yourself. Be less high on yourself.

You can even do it online. Like if you stumble across someone looking for something or asking for something... try to help them out. Even if you have to stop and take time out of your own existence.

Learning to NOT think about yourself all the time is the first step in being more sociable.
