you mean he's deadGuess what? Cotton the cat is freed once again 😢
nope, she left my house and she is freeyou mean he's dead
Can't imagine why!nope, she left my house and she is free
Yeah, You are "speculating" like that. Can't imagine why!
I followed through with what I told you and got them a bigger tank and they're happy lolIt really is a tiny tank for that many fish of that size.
Is “Cruelty” your middle name?
I call bullshit on the limited memory. For fish/fishes? They react to me the most. I walk by the tank and they follow me, "dance", and show general interest in the effect that I'll feed them and talk to them. They also remember my voice and when speaking from outside of their line of sight, they search for me. My wife leans close to the tank and talks them, they respond, but not in the way they respond to me. I'm the primary caretaker of them and they haven't forgotten who I am. It's as if they've imprinted on me and not my wife. She does exactly what I do, but they don't care. Also take note, we weren't their first owners. The pet store owned them beforehand. It probably feels like they're trapped inside infinity now, cause their memory spans are so short.
At least before they had the concept of... closure.
Or would it be enclosure?
You may have destroyed their budding sentience... maybe that's why they're so happy tho.
There's no projection of humanity on a fish. It's observations of behavior in a non controlled environment. Bitey, I suffer from bipolar depression and am detached from all things living in one way or another. In other words, I don't care. I am, however, an observational person who watches. I'm not a trained professional, I'm a regular person documenting what I see. Take it as you will. But you could just be anthropomorphizing as a means of trying to create an artificial relationship with the fishes that's always in your control.
Projecting your humanity onto inhuman things.
Meaning, you would think of the fish as nothing more than fish... if you had more friends in real life. But you probably don't, because you don't like not being in control of everything. The fish are a way for you to play pretend human with.
Real humans are... well, they don't usually agree with you!
People are usually only ever looking to be impressed with themselves.
That's good though because you can develop rivalries and then use the oppositional force to improve yourself against.
It's the QUALITY of the friendships that really count tho... most people tend to gravitate towards idiocy because it's easy to manipulate, like your fish... but some people, some people are quality people who try and find other quality people to talk to... and then they don't have to talk to the fish.
Or assume the fish are sentient.
Because they probably don't assume you're sentient.
Well, maybe when you had them trapped in a smaller cage.
Now they're free from having to consider you as sentient.
Noice! 👍🏻I followed through with what I told you and got them a bigger tank and they're happy lol

This is how I take reality at present...There's no projection of humanity on a fish. It's observations of behavior in a non controlled environment. Bitey, I suffer from bipolar depression and am detached from all things living in one way or another. In other words, I don't care. I am, however, an observational person who watches. Lol, yes I talk to the fish for the reason their swim bladders work as auditory systems. They can hear us just as well as another human being can. This is how I take reality at present...
Matthew Moulton on Gab: '*tokes around infinity* I have to talk about ret…'
Matthew Moulton on Gab: '*tokes around infinity* I have to talk about retards today... why? Oh, not actual retards, not the other kind of assumed retards either... uh... "cognitively damaged". I think at one point they started calling them all "autistic" as a way of trying to hide the damage...gab.com
You talk to fish dude... it's weird... I mean, if you're just wearing the weird, that's cool. Don't start huffing it tho. I mean, you're still ~eating~ fish, right?
Like from the grocery store?
You're still doing that, right?
Make sure you are. Don't stop eating fish because you started talking to your pets.
And, hey... I'm not sayin you, directly, but like... when you "suggest" ideas like that on the Internet... you give bad people bad ideas about bad shit!
So, be wary. Idiots abound. They are why we often can't have nice conversations about weird things. Because some people that aren't entirely people will take them literally.
Imagine Chris Chan reading your posts.
Okay, we used to do this thing where it was like, "Imagine your grandma reading your posts."
But I don't think that's gonna work anymore... so now... now pretend you're an "influencer" and pretend your ENTIRE audience is Chris Chan clones.
Okay... now word your shit accordingly.
Good intellect, think deeply, but don't subscribe deeply... otherwise you'll drown.Lol, yes I talk to the fish for the reason their swim bladders work as auditory systems. They can hear us just as well as another human being can.
Yes I eat fish and am also an avid fisherman. Do I believe I'm Dr. Doolittle? No. This is all an observation from my fish in captivity and the people they most interact with on a daily basis. I just tell what I see and experience.
