@minty I followed through with the original plan of giving the stuffies to my nephew and his little sister, he liked the dog one and kept it with him for the rest of his visit but my niece fell asleep before she got the bunny so I didn't see her reaction. Their parents have been informed they're not buyable in a store so take of them.

Like the face and the dispair captured. work on the arms make them reach forward as if to grasp the viewer, the audience will then debate if the figure has malicious intent or is desperate for companionship/rescue. Good study and base of a future project. i would pursue this composition.

i am of little buddy, someday. the problem would be precise replication

his black has blue hints and his rusty reds are different shades and the wing feathers are two-tone fading from red to black

trying to find the right shades when i fabric hunt is a bitch, let alone replicating the wing color pattern

lower feathers got a nearly beige outer edging, then there's the light rust feathers which turn black towards the tips
i will find a way to sew a doppelganger of him. it's simply a matter of work. oodles of it, to be sure, but this is my ride or die chicken and he deserves this honor

they are. they get leftover garden greens, treats in the morning, handmixed food. they have a box fan for hot days. they're very pampered.
i give them ice cubes in their water after work if it gets above 90F

chicken poop is one of the best fertilizers n high in nitrogen. they helpin' to grow my food so they can help eat some.
